This solo exhibition is a presentation of my hand coloured linocut prints depicting anthropomorphised introduced domestic animals and native Australian animals. For this solo exhibition at the Australian Galleries Print Room in Melbourne I’m delighted to be displaying a selection of hand coloured linocut prints alongside pencil and ink drawings, in addition to introducing explorations with new mediums including embroidery and sculpture. In conjunction with the show I’ll be giving an artist talk including Q & A as well as holding meet and greet sessions at the gallery. Art Aid for Gippsland is a fundraising exhibition organised by Gippsland Art Gallery to support the 2020 Gippsland Bushfire Appeal. An overwhelming number of artists have donated work to support this event so there will be a myriad of artworks available to bid on to raise funds for this worthy cause. On the final day of the exhibition, Sunday 15 March 2020, all artworks will be auctioned with profits going to the Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund (GERF). The works to be auctioned will be up online to view in February. For updates and further info follow the Gippsland Art Gallery FB page.
